With clear creative vision and a pragmatic and proactive business approach, Hindley & Co presented obvious synergies when they signed on to work with us. Director Anne Hindley had purchased off-the-shelf marketing assistance in the past, but was looking for customised advice to help realise a voice of authority and better reflect her point of difference in the market.
We reviewed the practice communications strategy, which included a purpose-defining vision, mission and values exercise. This task momentarily set practical concerns aside and revealed Anne’s more philosophical take on the experience of art and design, which heavily informs her architecture.
By clarifying the core Hindley & Co practice principles, we crafted a more authentic and authoritative voice to embolden the practice. We also undertook a range of copywriting and publishing tasks for the practice, including creating a practice profile, and articulating the complementary skills of the individuals that make up the Hindley & Co studio. In doing so we painted a picture of a highly effective practice, which only served to further unify the tight-knit team.
Other support included coaching on techniques for better follow-up with prospective clients, media coaching, and improving Hindley & Co’s conversion rate for new project leads. This has helped the practice land several new jobs in 2017/18, including a recent ‘dream project’ with target clients in their intended project value range.
