Do you have a fantastic project you want to give every chance of success? Do you spend too much time preparing submissions?
Putting together an award-winning entry for an award-worthy project is no easy task. You’ll need writing expertise, experience and time – few have all three in spades.
Luckily I have writing expertise and experience…and time. For you, always! My award-writing critiques will give one-to-one feedback on your entry. I’ll cast my fresh and experienced eyes over your award entry and tell it straight.
I’ll provide feedback on:
- Framing your case – how well you’ve done it
- Your evidence – what’s missing?
- Your vocabulary, style and tone – suggestions for improvement (softly, softly)
- Where to keep refining with the limited time I know you have
It works like this: You send through your draft, I examine it, then we talk (we can cover everything in a half-hour call, promise). To maximise your returns entries should include all draft copy, images and plans. Ideally your entry should reach me at least five working days before it is due. This gives me a chance to assess the award and you the chance to make suggested improvements. Naturally, all entries are in strict confidence.
Last year my award-writing efforts garnered one client two awards (incl. Houses Awards 2015), a shortlist (Australian Institute of Architects’ Victorian Architecture Awards 2015) and two commendations (incl. Architeam Awards 2015).
Award crits cost $450 (+gst). Call (0431 207 250) or email me to book.
