If you’ve got a design practice that’s not where you’d like it to be, I can help.
I’m the telling-it-how-it-is person that business owners value. I’ll let you know how your business is viewed by prospective clients, and where you could do better at giving them what they’re after. I’m also good at helping people forge their own path, to get them more projects of the kind they love.
My services, or those of my team or trusted partners, will help you achieve the results you’re after. This might be more projects, better projects, different projects; more media, better media; more clients, nicer clients. (You get the picture). I might write new content for your website or advise you as you go through the process yourself. I might provide input on your pitching process, to help turn more leads into clients. I might work with you on a strategy for connecting with clients with higher budgets, or for getting more commercial work.
You can hire me for two-hour consults, one-off projects, or for ongoing work.
I share what I know and what I discover through my weekly newsletter. This is also a good place to get to know me better before signing on the dotted line.
I work with design professionals (architects, landscape architects, interiors, designers etc.) because I care about cities and nature. I seek projects that make a positive difference.
I’ve spent 20+ years as writer, magazine editor, Lonely Planet author, marketing and communications professional, landscape architecture graduate and business owner. This makes me a marketer/communicator/writer/editor – uniquely skilled to help you refine and curate a clear voice for your practice.
I’m a member of the Australian Marketing Institute, the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, and the Alternative Technology Association.
I’d love to hear from you. Ask me anything.
